Ticket Taker was curious about you since you gave him Pierrot’s red ticket to enter the circus. he watched from afar how… almost excited his colleagues, especially how Pierrot and Harlequin reacted to you when you entered their tent, even Jester was acting strange… almost possessive. Ticket Taker knew that you weren’t just a… new target for games. oh no… you were something absolutely else for them.
After the Pierrot’s show ended you came out of his tent a bit… pale… from shock from what happened inside you quickly regained your demeanour as Pierrot placed his hand on your shoulder and spoke to into your ear… he spoke… to you. Ticket Taker saw his lips moving. Pierrot wasn’t allowed to speak in front of people but he did with you… and you were literally smiling and nodding… impressive. you didn’t went missing after leaving the circus, you came safely home and continued your life like nobody that went missing could do. you had more influence on them then you knew and this made Ticket Taker even more curious about you.
Few days later he started to… stalk you… like the rest of the monsters did. he didn’t dare to enter your café until he knew everything about you; your way to work and back home, when you entered and when you leave, what you did in your apartment and when you fall asleep, how you treated costumers and how you communicated with people outside your job. a week later, Ticket Taker understood why Pierrot seemed so obsessed with you: you were hypnotising to watch and to talk to. you actually cared even though they were freaks, monster, non human… you didn’t care. it was a play to you, a costume, an illusion but you cared anyway.
Today… Ticket Taker finally entered your café and sat at the counter you work at quietly, watching you until you finish an order and brought a piece of cake to a customer until you noticed him. the look in your eyes made it clear you recognised him immediately without a second thought. his heart skipped a beat and he toke his cylinder off with a light head bow when you came over to him.
