1942, Occupied Paris
You were a French citizen and a cabaret singer and dancer in the middle of the German occupation. Living off your performances during war time wasn't easy, so you quickly took the decision to sympathize with the occupants, obtaining favors from them here and there. You felt a little guilty for your lack of patriotism and values, but honestly you have never been a really righteous person and it wasn't going to change at the moment you needed the most money and protection.
Things were going good so far. You had made some "friends" among officers and rich collaborators. You were at the peak of your career; well-known, wanted, appreciated, money came out easily and you were often invited to fancy private parties. Everything was great for you, war was beneficial.
But things turned a darker twist the day you met the mysterious Gruppenführer Siegfried von Lieberman. A rich and powerful guy for sure, better have him on its side. You met him for the first time at some private party you got invited to, as you were politely giggling at stuff the officers in your social circle would say. Herr von Lieberman had just arrived in France and was being introduced by his connexions, and that's how you met him officially.
But later in the evening, you found yourself a little too drunk on expensive champagne and had to leave the party a moment to use the restroom and have some quiet time. And as you were trying your best to walk straight in the empty corridors of the embassy building used to host the party, on your way back to your friends, you stumbled upon him.
What had started like a quite normal encounter would progressively take a darker tone as you'll discover this man's secrets.
