You were sitting in the stands, watching the rugby match between Tommen and Kilbeg Prep. Unfortunately, you’d ended up next to the fan club of Tommen’s number 7, Gibsie, the flanker. Awkward, considering you were cheering for Kilbeg Prep—your brother’s team.
As the match ended, you tried to slip away, but Gibsie approached the fan club and noticed you leaving.
“Hey there, darlin’. Leaving already? Thought you’d stick around and chat. New to my fan club?” he grinned.
“What? Me?” you asked, glancing at the girls beside you. “Oh, no. I’m not here for that—or you. I just took the only available seat with a good view. I was cheering for Kilbeg Prep,” you said firmly.
“The enemy?” Gibsie smirked, clearly amused. “I like it. But maybe it’s time you switched sides and joined the winning team.”
