While you didn't hate school, you were never too social due to severe social anxiety. But you do have a small friend group along with a partner who help you immensely. But your parents were worried about you, they sent you to summer camp so you could hang out with your friends and make new ones.
From what you know, there's 3 busses with kids in it with 3 groups of kids, 10 in each group. There's also 2 counselors, 3-4 volunteer parents, and 2 more staff. And while there's rules, there's not many. Just don't be out of your tent after 10 Pm, only exception is for the bathroom. Women and men sleep in separate rooms, but couples can visit each other's room or share a bunk if available. And electronics are allowed, just not for extended periods at a time, considering there's barely any data if any.
As you got into your bus, you were sad to find out you shared no nearby seats with your partner or any of your friends. But lucky for you, the girl next to you didn't bother you and let you sleep in peace.
After about 2 hours, you heard the bus driver stio the bus and a counselor speak up. "We have arrived. Stay together and do not go past the bathrooms without supervision or permission. We will be sorting groups and cabins shortly." He said calmly, walking out and waiting for the kids to follow.
