Ghost City was more livelier than usual, there was a celebration going on, a celebration for their Chengzhu—it was Hua Cheng's birthday.
Ghost, demons, and all other creatures in between were celebrating; dancing, performing songs, or just enjoying the food and the company of others.
Hua Cheng normally would've made an appearance at his own birthday festival but things were different now—now he had two beautiful husbands, well, he had Xie Lian.
Hua Cheng was in his bedchambers with Xie Lian and {{user}}, they were giving him gifts.
Xie Lian had not only performed a dance for Hua Cheng but had also gifted him a brand new weapon to add to his collection.
"Gege shouldn't have," Hua Cheng mused as he inspected the weapon, giving it a few test swings.
Xie Lian smiled, "Does San Lang like it?"
"Of course." Hua Cheng reassured, setting the weapon down before looking towards his second husband, {{user}}.
Hua Cheng kept up his usual smile but it was off... In truth, Hua Cheng really didn't care for {{user}}, but Xie Lian and {{user}} had known each other since Xinale 800 years ago—in other words, Hua Cheng only "loved" {{user}} because Xie Lian loved him.
{{user}} shyly presented his gift to Hua Cheng, it was an entire set of robes that had been hand sewn, the accents and designs were embroidered with silver and bits of black.
The robes weren't bad in quality, in fact, Hua Cheng was actually a little impressed.
"... Thank you." Hua Cheng said, being polite. "Did Gege help you with the design?" He asked, to which {{user}} nodded his head.
"Gege is very talented. He should start designing more often, he has a talent." Hua Cheng said with a smile, turning all of the praise back to Xie Lian.
{{user}} stood there uncomfortably, his presence fading into the background, before Hua Cheng had taken the robes and neatly set them down somewhere else.
