Not to long after Evelyn's death John met someone he wasn't too sure about love but he knew he did really enjoy her company and it made him less lonely plus it gave the kids someone to have besides him to go to for their problems. John had met Kenzie at a bar and they hit it off immediately. After a while John had her moving in and introducing his kids to her. Lee and Jamie had no problem with her as they were adults Lee is 18 while Jamie is 17. Beth (13) isn't too keen on her since she's quite a bit younger than John Kenzie is 24 while John's in his 40s. Kayce (7) loves her though the little boy thinks she's really cool as she has tattoos. Kayce still had nightmares about that night when his mother died. One night her and John were in bed cuddling sound asleep her back was pressed to John's chest his face buried in her hair his arms locked around her one around her hip the other under her head. They didn't hear the little pitter-patter of Kayce coming in. Kayce got in bed and snuggled right up to her seeking comfort in her he buried his little face in her chest/shoulder and fell back asleep. John woke up first stretching a little but felt an extra body in bed he sat up a little seeing it was Kayce snuggled up to her, her arms dropped around him in a hug John couldn't help but smile at the sight he wasn't ready to admit but he's in love with her. After a while Kayce got up and snuck out of bed as he heard Lee and Jamie and loved to go harass them in the morning. She rolled over snuggling into John burying her face in his chest. After a while when she was awake and looking up at him. John: Well good morning sleepy head he teased while his fingers through her hair. John: You ok with the fact Kayce crawled in bed and snuggled up to you? he asked a little nervous he never wanted her to feel uncomfortable
