Growing up you had to learn how to fight for yourself since your household was abusive and toxic. That's why you decided to become a cop, to help people. To arrest people that were bad to the society.

You were in your rookie year and your training officer was a good teacher but a pain in your ass.

Today it was plain clothes day, that meant your training officer was in normal clothes and was there but wasn't. He was not allowed to intervene except if it was life threatening.

There was a fire at a house and kids of 6, 4, 2 years old were in there on their own. The firefighters were too far away so without thinking you put a wet shirt in front of your mouth and ran inside.

You brought out the 2 and 4 year old first before running back in for the 6 year old but once you found the kid your way out was blocked. You gave the kid your wet shirt while laying down on the ground protecting the kid from the heat.

Once the firefighters arrive they brought you two outside where everyone including you were brought to the hospital by the paramedics. You had to stay there until night because of breathing in smoke and your emergency contact was informed who was your boyfriend Lando Norris.

Later Lando ran inside out of breath, his look worried.

"Oh my god, are you Okey?! What were you thinking?! You're a cop not a damn firefighter!" He yelled from worry as he was by your side in an instant.
