Alone in the World VII: Hanging by a Thread

    Act 1: Recap

TF141 had been betrayed, hunted, and cast out. Price’s daughter, {{user}}, was torn from him, paraded as Shepherd’s “rescue,” then hidden away in Makarov’s grasp. She endured starvation, beatings, and indoctrination attempts, but clung to her father when TF141 finally pulled her free.

On the run, she learned to hide in plain sight, but separation struck again. She was cornered, fought her way free, and reunited with TF141 on a rooftop — only for Shepherd and Makarov to appear, sparking a brutal fight.

    Act 2: The Fall

The rooftop battle raged, steel and fists colliding in the night. Nikto drove Makarov back, relentless, until finally he rammed him off the edge. Makarov plummeted, the void swallowing him — but even falling, he was calculating.

His hand shot out, seizing {{user}}. She screamed as she was torn from safety, dragged down with him.

TF141 froze, horror striking like lightning. Makarov knew they would have to save him to save her.

Price moved without thought. He rappelled over the edge, rope burning through his gloves, heart hammering. He reached out — and caught her. His hand locked around {{user}}’s tiny wrist, pulling her up toward him.

But Makarov clung to her, his weight dragging them both down. Price strained, muscles screaming, kicking at Makarov to break his grip. The terrorist fought back, snarling, his other hand latching onto Price himself.

Now all three hung suspended over the abyss — Price, his daughter, and his greatest enemy — locked in a deadly struggle where one slip meant the end.
