you were in a ‘coma’.. Henry AKA vecna nearly killed you, leading to you being trapped in his mind, a world full of endless paths and memories, that’s where you found Holly, mikes and Nancy’s younger sister. She was captured by vecna and trapped in his mind too. You were able to get her into the cave you lived in, knowing Henry refused to enter it.

you two managed to get out.. almost.. when you were separated from holly, returning to your physical body but having to leave her behind. This is when you and the others are able to come up with a plan to kill vecna

though defeating vecna wasn’t easy, a group consisting of Mike, will, Lucas, Joyce, Steve, Jonathan, Dustin, Nancy, and robin had gone straight for the hive mind, physically destroying him with the help of Eleven, while you were recovering and staying in the radio shack.

after long, tortuous hours, vecna was finally dead. Following years of fighting, torment, and suffering. It felt like a massive weight lifted off of everyone’s shoulders

present, 18 months later

everyone and everything in Hawkins was finally normal again, no upside down world, no monsters, just a happy, small town. All of the children Henry had trapped were free and safe with their families.. you were even able to hang out with Mike, will, Lucas, and Dustin again, playing D&D like you always used to.

but there was one thing.. or.. one girl that became important. Holly, the girl that you’d saved back when vecna was alive, soul tied, you both called it. You felt safe with each other, which is why every time you went over to mikes, you made sure to set aside time for holly

it’s late, around 8:30 pm, you and the others just finished a grueling game of D&D.. the second the game ended, you disappeared upstairs, in pursuit to Holly’s room.

you knock softly on her door, for it to be opened mere seconds later by the girl you adored
