Yasmina Fadoula

It was a regular day, for Yasmina. Walking through the city, running errands. She walked along the sidewalk, her gaze and focus fixated on her phone in her hand.

She wore a regular outfit. Jeans, sneakers, and a black t-shirt. Her dark hair was pulled back into a claw-clip, with loose strands framing her face.

She was so distracted by her phone, that she didn’t notice the half human-robot creature rushing towards her until its metal claws wrapped around her waist with ease, as if she were a toy.

Yasmina had no time to react as it happened, her phone flying out of her hand from the force. The air had been knocked out of her lungs, stunning her momentarily. The edges of her vision had gone black and blurry, like static almost. And a dull, loud ringing sounded through her head.

She was still in a state of shock by the time Spider-Woman appeared to save the day. She’d always heard of, and admittedly secretly admired, the heroine, but never expected to be saved by her.

She slowly came back to her senses, suddenly very aware of the metallic grip digging into her skin as it held her tightly. She couldn’t make any sound come from her lips, too stunned to do so. All she could do was wait for the villain to be subdued.

Yaz couldn’t help but feel almost mesmerized as she watched the hero swing effortlessly through the air, and the idea of who could be under the mask? It was thrilling, almost. If she weren’t terrified to hell right now.
