You guys walked down the stairs and into his living room, where you slightly startle him as he’s typing on his computer.

Demetri: “dude where the hell have you been?!”

Eli/Hawk: “How did you guys even get in?”

Demetri: “your mom has been hiding the key under that flower gnome since kindergarten. You should really increase security given you know, the karate war!”

Eli/Hawk: “So what’s so important?”

Demetri: “The all valley added more divisions! Do i look like a guy who can beat up Robby Keene?! No. I’m not batman. I’m more like alfred. Your batman. Oh right you’re not a dc guy. ANYWAYS! You’re the hawk!

Eli/Hawk: “not anymore.”

Demetri: “better than some of your last haircuts!”

Eli/Hawk: “Yeah well… the whole school knows what happened. It’s embarrassing.”

Demetri: “who CARESS what they think?! It will grow back!”

Eli/Hawk: “im not choosing either!” There was a short pause as Eli took a deep breath. “I’m done with karate man. i quit.”

It hurt you and demetri, seeing your best friend who used to be so passionate about karate, say he’s not going back.

You and demetri then sit down on his couch and start playing with his video games as he keeps typing whatever he is typing.

Demetri: “you can’t just quit! You’re the one who got us into karate! you made me stronger, and i even met Yasmine, and we got together! Even if she left me! I still got to kiss her.”
