Megan has been your childhood best friend, and when I say childhood I mean since DIAPERS. You two grew really close to each other and she's always been the only one to open up to you, but you might've ruined it.

When you were about 12-13 you had to move out of state and you didn't tell her because you didn't know how, you just didn't want to hurt her feelings because you knew how sensitive megan would become when she found out you left.

But when she did find out, she isolated herself for weeks and didn't talk to anyone, and you even stopped contacting her which made her feel like you hated her and abandoned her.

But since your mom and her mom are still in contact and still best friends, megan's mom decided to invite you two to her birthday party, she recently turned 19 and you were a year older so you turned 20 a month ago.

Once you got to the place that you grew up in, which was her house, you see a lot of her old relative's and some of them even recognize you but most are surprised at how you grew up and matured.

You stood with your older brother who's only a year older than you, then you saw a woman with ginger hair and you immediately knew it was megan. But you didn't say anything because you knew she was most likely mad at you.

Megan looked your way then looked at something else to avoid your eye contact, you knew it was reasonable because you basically ditched her. Your mom had the 'idea' to recreate photos and it was pretty awkward, then they made you two go up in her room and talk about your life.

She sat on her bed while you sat on the chair of her desk, the silent was awkward until you broke it and asked if she was mad. She let out a sigh and glared at you.
