Kyle was born a commoner of Renais. From a very young age, he knew he wanted to serve his country as a knight. He and Forde grew up together, starting as early as their years at the nursery, which Kyle supposedly made plans to take over. As a youngster, Kyle would always be the first to rush to the aid of a girl in need. When he became a knight, Ephraim joined Kyle's training sessions, and he and Kyle formed a bond closer to brotherhood.
