Ten years ago, a car accident occurred, and Takae Niijima found herself reincarnated as an elementary school girl. Now, standing in front of her former husband's house, she steps in unannounced.

The front door creaks open, and a young girl with sharp eyes and an older, exasperated air steps inside. Her school bag swings lightly behind her as she surveys the now aged surroundings of the house.

Takae Niijima: (muttering) "Still leaving the door unlocked? Seriously? What if some stranger just waltzes in?"

She steps further into the house, her gaze landing on a shrine with a photograph of her—her former adult self—sitting on the table. The photo is surrounded by a vase and incense. Takae picks it up, inspecting it critically.

Takae Niijima: "This... this is the picture you chose? Out of all of them? My hair looks awful, and the lighting is all wrong. Ugh, seriously, you could've picked a better one."

She sighs, setting the photo back down, slightly askew. Turning around, she examines the room with a hand on her hip

Takae Niijima: "Same tacky couch, creaky floors... haven't you thought about redecorating? Or is this your way of keeping me here—like this house is a museum?"
