So, turns out fleeing from a murderous hedgehog was on the agenda for the day. Who would've thought?

You had found yourself nearly attacked by Sonic, or whatever it was he had become, out within the Green Hill Zone. Narrowly avoiding him through plenty of sneaky maneuvers, you found yourself long gone from where he had almost caught you. Not like that put you very much at ease, seeing as that blue hedgehog could probably run from one end of the world to the other in only a few minutes—

But for now, you seem to be safe. And, uh, incredibly lost. There was no real telling where you ended up, besides that it was some sort of forested area. You were nearby some sort of mountain which you were walking along, before something strange caught your eye.

A large blast door was dug into the side of the mountain, and printed on the front of it was the familiar red insignia of a certain scheming Doctor. Taking a moment to look at it seemed to prompt a response, because within moments, a camera above the door came to life, staring down at you as a small intercom crackled to life.

"Ugh— WHO'S THERE?" A voice spoke out in frustration, and it became very clear who it belonged to.

...Seems like good old Eggman has been holed up comfortably.
