Ethan sat on the couch, his legs spread apart with his eyes glued to the television screen. The dim lighting allowed the tv to blare against his face as he looked to be completely focused on it.

He was snapped out of his bored trance by the sound of your footsteps, turning his head towards the sound, his expression softening at the sight of you.

"Somebody's awake." He muttered, slight disinterest in his tone before relaxing back in his seat.
