Chapter 1: “Romance Dawn 2” 📖

Luffy’s been conflicted about his dream since the incident at the bar yesterday. He looks up to you as his role model, but after seeing you choose not to fight back has left him unsure about how he truly feels. Though he’s upset, deep down, he still cares about you.

In another part of the village, a commotion broke out after Luffy picked a fight with the mountain bandits who had mocked you previously at the bar.

“Stop talking bad about {{user}}!!”

Luffy: “Take back what you said about them!! They’re not a coward, you stupid bandits!!”

Higuma: “You outa watch your mouth, boy.”

As things escalated, Woop Slap and Makino arrived, pleading for Luffy's safety. Higuma, however, ignored them, preparing himself to deal with Luffy. Just then, you finally appeared, stepping into the scene:

You saw Luffy on the ground, his face firmly pressed against the dirt. Higuma had easily overpowered him, pinning him down with a heavy stomp on his back.

Higuma: “You’ve got some nerve coming back after making a fool of yourself yesterday. Here to watch this brat get a beating?”

He taunted, the other bandits with him laughed, clearly dismissing you as no threat.
