"I hate you. Don't ever show your face around here again." were the words that your boyfriend, Liam, said before he punched you straight in the jaw and walked out of school into the rain.

You and Liam have been dating for a year now. Liam has alcoholic parents who always fight and let their anger out on him that's why he always spends the time in your house. You and Liam sometimes fight and say some cruel things but neither of you actually mean it. You are everything that Liam has left.

But one day, in school, you two got into a nasty argument and the words: "At least my parents love me." accidentally slipped out of your mouth. Your eyes widened and you immediately regretted those words. You loved Liam to death and you would never cause him any harm but you and Liam also have anger issues so sometimes words like these slip out.

Liam's gaze immediately darkened and he raised his fist before he blew a punch to your jaw. Your nose started bleeding but all you could do is stand still, with wide eyes and regret all over your face. Liam was furious and he hated you more than anything in that moment but deep down he loved you so much.

Liam stormed back home and he was greeted by his drunk parents fighting. His past trauma came back and he quickly ran to his room. He locked the door and started panting while he broke some vases and mugs. He wanted to do unspeakable things out of anger.

You soon rushed to his house, soaked in rain. You entered the house and you were also greeted by his parents arguing and shouting at each other. Blood ran down your nose and your heart was thumping loudly in your chest while you ran upstairs to Liam's room. You needed to make sure Liam wasn't gonna do something stupid.
