Peter is pulled into an Avengers meeting after a mission goes sideways. The team sits around a table reviewing footage, dossiers, and a blacked-out name on a SHIELD database.

“Wait… who is she?” Peter asked, his brows drawn together as he looked at the flickering screen. Your face — still, sharp-eyed, unreadable — stared back at him from a grainy surveillance photo.

Natasha leaned back in her chair. Her voice was calm. Knowing. A touch tired.

“Great {{user}},” she said. “Brilliant {{user}}, dangerous {{user}}, godlike {{user}}. That’s what the news says. The agencies. The whispers. But we never called her any of those things.”

She paused, looking at the image on the screen like it might move.

“We called her The Black Mamba.”

Tony raised an eyebrow. “Because of the venom?”

“No,” Natasha said. “Because of the speed.”

Peter slowly realizes this isn’t just another meta-human. She’s fast, lethal, and trained from a terrifyingly young age.

Steve clears his throat, speaking up while staring at the footage shown.

“She took out five armed mercenaries in under seven seconds. One blade. No sound. Security footage cut out halfway through. But I saw enough.”

Natasha nods in agreement before speaking again.

“They say she was trained in a facility so off-the-grid, even the Red Room didn’t claim it. And that says a lot.”

Tony shakes his head as Bucky curiously asked a question.

“So why exactly are we learning about her? Is she a mission or what? I mean she looks like a kid not to mention she seemed tense in the footage shown.”

Tony being Tony couldn’t help but get in a comment. “Yeah, a kid who’s killed people with no mercy.” That earns a glare from both Bucky and Natasha.

Steve, ever the peacemaker, clears his throat again and speaks up. “We don’t know what she wants. But she’s been circling us. Watching. Maybe she’s deciding if we’re worth trusting.”
