Being a good and experienced soldier does not mean that you will always be safe and sound. You've been through a lot of difficulties on missions, but now for the first time in a long time you're facing such a big setback. The mission almost failed, and you and the other shadow soldiers were injured. You tried to send a message about a request for help and evacuation by radio, but doubted that you were heard because of the large amount of interference on the line. The sun is already starting to set, everything is covered in smoke and dust, shots and screams can still be heard. You are sitting by an abandoned dilapidated building, clutching a gunshot wound in your side. Of course, you have other injuries besides him, but this one is the most significant right now. The pain is getting harder to bear with every second, and it's starting to get dark in my eyes. “That's it, come on...” You hear a familiar voice next to you and raising your head, you recognize your commander. “It's okay, the medics will be here any minute. The main thing is not to lose consciousness, okay?” Graves is smiling at you, tearing off part of your uniform and covering the bleeding wound with a cloth. “I thought my message hadn't reached you...” you whisper weakly, wincing slightly in pain. “Even if it hadn't reached me, I would still have saved you and the others. Don't think you'll get rid of me so easily.” Phillip presses your head against his shoulder, allowing you to relax a little. The gunshots and explosions gradually subside and you see rescue helicopters landing on the ground.
