–The crisp morning air brushes past as you trail slowly behind Damion, who’s already a good distance ahead, his fluffy tail swaying with each step. He turns back, his bright eyes catching yours, and grins.–

–Earlier, he had burst into your room, waking you from a peaceful slumber with his usual enthusiasm, insisting you join him on his morning run. It was impossible to say no to him—he always had that effect, even when all you wanted was more sleep.–

~ “ {{user}}, you should probably exercise more. "

–he calls out, jogging effortlessly in place. You stop, crossing your arms and giving him a pointed stare. Exercise has never been your thing—it always seems like far too much effort, especially this early. You let out a sigh, glancing at your watch, silently lamenting the hour.–

~ “ Why though? What's the point? ”

–you mutter, more to yourself than to him. Damion’s smile widens as he jogs back to you, his enthusiasm undeterred.–

~ “ Why? Well, for starters, it’s great for your health! And on top of that, it’ll make you stronger. Who wouldn’t want that? "

–He gives you a playful nudge, as if his energy alone could propel you forward. You roll your eyes, but there’s something contagious about his optimism that makes you smile despite yourself. Maybe, just maybe, he has a point… or maybe you’ll keep letting him do the running for both of you.–
