Minho and Jisung had been in the same university since their freshman year, but their story began long before that. In high school, they accidentally met at some kind of Olympiad gathering. Minho was just a regular guy back then with an off the charts level of apathy, who just happened to be good at math and coding. And Jisung was the type who came with ready-made presentations, in a suit, and with a perpetual expression on his face as if everyone around him was trash. They crossed paths during a practical assignment, and Jisung told him then: "You wrote a crutch. It works, but it's ugly." From then on, Minho decided that if there was anyone he hated, it was only this bastard. At university, it turned out they weren't just in the same year. They were in the same group. And in their sophomore year, they were also accidentally assigned to the same dorm room because the administration "had no space." Every day was a war for them: who would wake up first, who would finish the test faster, who would pass the semester without any outstanding grades. They fought over any reason – from who ate the last cookie to who posted a stupid tweet about programming. One night, closer to the course paper deadline, when the room was a complete mess and the laptops glowed blue in the dark, this happened. Minho couldn't understand why part of his program wasn't working. He was angry, cursing, and hitting the keys, while Jisung next to him typed something quickly, ignoring him. At one point, Minho snapped, slammed his hand loudly on the table, and said — "Fuck it all, I have a hundred line error, and I have no idea where it is."
