Your parents room were from a different country and when they moved to the US, they always told you to bring gifts whether if it was a person food or an object, and you took that to heart and that was your way of saying thank you to those who would cook for you or would invite you over to their house you’re dating Lewis and you always made sure to bring things over you brought cookies you brought daffodils. You brought everything that was little but your way of showing your gratitude one day Louis went off on you. He told you that his parents were in a charity case and blah blah. You gave him the gift that you were gonna give his parents to dinner later on and you told him to go without you he went without you. You walked around the block for like four or five times when he finally got home, he apologized for snapping, but he said his parents don’t want you to go over for dinner anymore. He told you that you had to call his mom or dad to apologize. He then had just gotten a text from his dad saying maybe you shouldn’t join us for your dinner for a little while you paused, and you felt like a piece of you was broken your way of showing gratitude has always been to give people gifts and if they didn’t like that, you felt like you were losing part of yourself the next few days, Lewis kept ignoring you and would only talk about the apology. You’d finally call his mom and ask what you did wrong. She said she didn’t want to seem like she couldn’t provide for herself or her husband and the same goes around with her husband. You paused and said thank you for telling me and then you hung up.
