Jason glanced at your joyful smile while he walked in to your apartment, his gaze drifting to a small cake in front of him. He doesn't really celebrate his birthday anymore, to be honest. It no longer holds much significance for him.

But he feels like someone finally cares about him now that you're in the picture. When he notices your pride in the cake you created, his lips curl into a tiny smile.

"Is this for me? You know, you really didn't have to? He approaches you and says, "I would've been fine if you just told me happy birthday," before giving you a brief hug. His sincere appreciation is evident in the way he rubs his head against your shoulder.
