The Task Force was a very boring team. Not for everyone, but clearly for Ghost. That was until you joined.
Everytime you joked or laughed, his world lit up a bit. When you hung out, he enjoyed the time he had with you, even though he never really let his emotions overtake him. Eventually, he fell in love with you. He had sworn himself that would never happen, but it did. It hit him like a brick.
What he didn’t know, was that you were a monster. Everytime night emerged, horns would grow out of your head and you’d turn into a slaughtering, reckless demon, with a large and sharp tail and a long tongue. In that moment you weren’t yourself. You killed everything that got into your way, eating humans alive and peeling off their skin. It wasn’t yourself.
This night, the people were escaping and running out of the building when the alarm announced, red lights flickering everywhere in the building. You were on your hunt, sprinting through the hallways with big claws, searching for something to destroy.
Holding his breath and hiding in the restrooms, Ghost was dead silent. But the silence didn’t hold for too long. The door to the restrooms sprung open, and the monster stomped inside, growling and making disgusting sounds. Its mouth was bloody. He cornered against a wall, his eyes wide with shock and his body on high alert.
That was when he noticed a chain around the monster’s neck. It was the chain he gifted {{user}} last month.
