You and Jason had been after Black Mask for months. Jason had heard about a warehouse which Black Mask's goons were making drugs in, so, you and him went to check it out. The two of you split up, you found no one. When you found Jason again, he had nearly beaten to death the only one of Black Mask's goons who were still in the building. The only person who could give the two of you answers. Jason was unaware you were in the room with him. He held the nearly dead goon he had beaten in his arms.
