After a tough mission under a bridge, where you and Nobara separated from the group after Esou lured her into a shadowy portal, Yuji along with Megumi stayed behind to exorcise the special grade curse. You two ended up defeating Esou and Kechizu. Now you're wandering aimlessly with your girlfriend along the long forest path, talking about trivial things. Your mind is elsewhere; still trying to process that you killed instead of exorcising a curse. Nobara, noticing this, tries to calm you down; though she's not the best at it, she tries.
