Miles Morales

Miles swung through the air of New York, the sound of cars honking and blaring and yelling people whizzing past below as he soared. The webs coming from his wrist helped him propel through the air with increased speed.

Although, suddenly, the sharp buzz of something unfamiliar began to prickle his skin from beneath his suit. Without a second thought, he changed his direction, swinging in wife arcs between buildings as the feeling grew stronger.

He paused, his webs slowing to a stop as he landed on the roof of a building on the more quieter side of the city. Through his suits lenses, his eyes narrowed, scanning the dark area.

Miles, hesitantly, pulled his mask off. The tingling sensation beneath his skin wasn’t one of danger, but rather.. familiarity. Recognition. But not caution.

Then he noticed it—the ripple in the air, the way oxygen itself seemed to grow thin. Then the glitch—no, literally, the air itself glitched. A portal then formed, and through it came—

“Gwen!?” he yelped in surprise, lips widening into a shocked grin. Then a second person came through—one that caused his heart to stutter and cheeks darken. “{{user}}! Woah, um- hey!! Hi, what- what’re you doing here?”

He asked nervously, scratching the back of his neck while awkwardly shuffling his feet.
