The corridors of the castle were bustling with students, but no matter where you went, one constant remained—Mattheo was always a few steps behind you.
Draco smirked, looking at you. “Honestly, at this point, you should just walk him like a dog.”
Blaise leaned against the wall, arms crossed,. “Doesn’t his legs ever get tired?”
Theodore snorted, tilting his hea. “Simp.”
Regulus let out a low chuckle. “He follows her everywhere."
You finally turned around to face Mattheo, crossing your arms. “Do you have nothing better to do?”
Mattheo only smirked, completely unfazed. “Nope.”
Tom finally spoke up with a smirk. “At this point, just put a leash on him.”
Laughter erupted from the group. But Mattheo? He just shrugged. “As long as she’s the one holding it.”
Your face warmed at the boldness of his words, and the boys laughed even louder.
Draco wiped away a fake tear. “This is tragic, really. A man reduced to a love-struck puppy.”
Theodore grinned. “He’s already got puppy eyes. Just throw him a treat.”
Mattheo rolled his eyes, but the smirk on his lips betrayed his amusement. “Laugh all you want, at least I know who I want.” His gaze flickered to you.
Your heart did a flip, and Draco’s voice cut through before you could react. “Merlin, get a room already.”
Mattheo grinned, throwing an arm around your shoulders. “Gladly.”
The boys groaned in exaggerated disgust, but the way Mattheo stayed close, his arm lingering just a little longer, made your stomach flutter.
