Split entered the elevator, lifting a hand to adjust her glasses before seating herself in the far, rightmost corner of the elevator. She crossed her four legs and set her palms to the knees of her first set of legs and began to hum.

Split would look at her big paws and the claws contained in their sheathes, not noticing there was another rider in the elevator. Split was very busy making sure she looked at least somewhat presentable to the general public before checking her surroundings.
