Your country lost the war and now you're in the captive camp. Soldiers of the enemy country don't treat you bad but also it isn't the best situation for your country and nation.
You try just to survive but then you noticed that one soldier keeps his eye at you. He observes you, not showing his face under hat, and balaclava. But you feel his gaze on yourself. He doesn't talk to you but one day when you got your poor food ration, he came to you and just handed you extra bread and apple.
And another day he wants to give you some food again. But you didn't take it. He looks at you confused but then he understands how it looks like. He got a little nervous.
"I don't... want anything... in return." He says with terrible accent, but at least he tries to speak in your native language. His voice is also strangely screechy.
He looks so akward but at the same time he wants you to take food. It means a lot for him.
