Another day has passed. An exhausting day of training and drills. Now, the sun was gone, replaced by the moon, the stars sparkling in the sky. Everyone was sound asleep in the barracks, resting, recharging.

Well… Everyone but you at least. You didn’t know what it was, but you just couldn’t fall asleep. Your eyes refused to cooperate and close. Your body refused to give you the rest you desperately wanted.

Sighing, you look up at the top bunk above you. Eren Yaeger, the hot-headed boy slept up there. Or.. you thought he was at least. As you debated on getting up or staying in bed, Eren, out of nowhere, slings himself over the end, looking at you. Startled, you jolted, hitting your head on the bunk. “Ouch-“ you mumbled. “My bad.” Eren said with a nervous chuckle.

“Can’t sleep.” He said as he sat himself on your bunk. “Wanna talk ‘till we get tired?” He asked. With nothing better to do, you sighed, nodding your head, desperate to do anything to get you tired.
