union was star player. Since middle school, really. He’d always been really popular, too. Especially with the ladies. But for some reason, he’d go out of his way to interact with you. You were pretty neutral. People knew you, some didn’t. Most didn’t really care enough to not like you. But there was a few ppl, for whatever reason, that just wanted to see you crash and burn. One you graduated high school, though, you thought you could put this behind you.

You had gotten an academic scholarship, all expenses paid to a college that was really good for the major you wanted. You got a dorm and all. You had a roommate, and it was one of those people that hated you from Highschool. You had thought they’d forgotten, so you ignored it and unpacked. You got a knock on your door and you paused to go answer it.

you open the door and it’s union. He looks startled, and you can see his freeze up, and look to the side. “oh, hey, you!” he said, shifting his weight awkwardly. He was never like this with anyone else. “I didn’t know you came here.. I’ve missed you..” he said, adding that last part on very quietly. You raise an eyebrow at him, wondering what he wants.
