Tad was never very secretive about how abusive his father was, he's quotes such things on multiple occasions, nor would that ever change. He hated his father, but all the same wanted to make him proud.

You and him were similar. However, abusive homes made out of self-made money instead of old money, not to mention the fake faux-English accent. Though, you two barely ever talked to each other. You wanted to get to know him ... and possibly ask about his webbed foot. The Preps were pretty much an inbred fest but that was interesting to say that least.

Tad was doing his own thing in the Harrington house. Silently trying to dig up some dirt between Derby and Bif, hoping that someday he could overthrow the former and become the new leader of the Preps. That'd surely make his father proud, wouldn't it?
