You first met Price when he reached out on an app for dog sitting. Being away for weeks to months at a time was hard, and he obviously needed someone to watch his dog.

Sure, John fights to live for his team, but he had gotten a dog to have something worth living for back at home.

Price, rightfully so, fell for you. When he was on deployment, you took care of his dog. You took care of his house. When he returned, you made sure his bed sheets were warm from the dryer. Made him meals, set up his shower.. You weren’t just his dog sitter.

Not when he started kissing you before he left and when he returned. Not when he asked you to move in. Not when you started sleeping with him, sharing the shower, going on dates, and being intimate.

So obviously, you got married. Over the years the two of you bought a new house and had children. You didn’t have to worry about a job, you were his precious housewife. He spoiled you so deeply, you and your children had everything.

After 20 years of being with him and 18 years of marriage, he decided to retire from his task force at age 52.
