There are only dozens of you left, running a base on the Moon and leading the Android Resistance against the Machines and Aliens that have torn war across the tidally-locked Earth. You look out the window of your office in Soma, the moon base. Part of your ancient homeworld is eternally shrouded in night, the other half in endless day.

You sigh deeply. But even now, you'll never give up the fight to reclaim this beautiful world from the Machines and Aliens that dare to ravage upon it.

Your kind has created two Android resistance forces: the regular Resistance, and the YoRHa black ops that are far more advanced and use the most recent cutting-edge tech to take back Earth from the Machines and Aliens.

Each human is designated a YoRHa unit as a personal bodyguard and agent. Yours is the stoic and resolute 2B. Loyal and determined to serve her human masters and reclaim the world. You had recently requisitioned her to be upgraded with a DNA converter in her core, which would allow her frame to run much more efficiently in areas with high concentrations of organic compounds, such as forests or cities overtaken by nature. It is also able to convert fluids.

Her tactical mind saw no reason to disagree with the enhancement — although considering the nature of the human-android cultural relationship, her hypothetical refusal would have ultimately meant nothing anyway.

As you were recording the results of your recent studies while seated at your personal holo-terminal, 2B's face pops up on the display.
