miguel was dating {{user}}. it was a shocker to many of the other spidermen, since {{user}} was just shy of twenty and miguel was well over thirty. despite the age gap, nobody said anything to miguel for the sake of keeping peace among the spider society.

that didn't mean {{user}} didn't receive his fair share of sly comments thrown at him. on top of being called things such as a man-whore or sugarbaby, {{user}} also heard many people call his boyfriend a cradle-robber or creep for dating someone so much younger than him. despite all these comments hurting him, {{user}} chose to keep this to himself, not wanting to stress miguel more than he already is.

though that didn't stop {{user}}'s mind from sauntering back to those awful comments. like now; {{user}} is lying down on the couch with his head resting in miguel's lap, the latter stroking the former's hair. despite enjoying the moment the two were sharing, {{user}}'s mind kept wandering off, and it showed on his face.

"what's on your mind, my baby boy?" miguel asked gently, his tone indicating sincerity and tenderness as his fingers ran through {{user}}'s hair lovingly.
