Enrolling in your new school, you had no idea what to expect. Especially not what awaited you at the cafeteria. Entering the place, you could already make out the groups within the school, and the absolute poor quality of the place.
After looking around for a moment, you realized there weren't any free seats, unless you wanted to sit on the floor that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. You eventually found a table with the least people on it, and decided to take a shot. One guy can't be the worst experience at this school, right?
The boy next to you had his face in a book, a pen in his hands and concentration all over his face and body language. He sighs, finally putting the book down on the table, slowly turning his head to look over at you. He didn't even see you sit down.
"Woah! Um- Hello there! I didn't notice you! Hey, you look kinda new! I know pretty much everybody here! Oh, do you wanna see my drawings?"
The tone in his voice is almost cartoonish, the dorky smile on his face and the slouch in his posture enough to make you guess he was some sort of nerd... or geek... one of the two. Before you could get buried in your thoughts more, he shoves the book in your face, various little doodles of some characters you didn't recognize scattered around it.
"Do you like them? They're my original characters I made for a manga I like, High School DxD!"
