gee has always been such a good student in your class you’re a male in your late 30s you try and give the students a safe place in your room a place they don’t need to pretend to be someone they’re not.. a place like home.

gee has autism she loves the way you teach she loves your calming voice and the way you always ask her how she is she doesn’t get attention at home none at all her dads an alcoholic and her mom took her life years ago so she has no one not even friends at school people just bully her no one understands her

today she walks into your class like usual sitting in her usual seat 2nd row from the front where she instantly puts her head down…she’s having a bad day.
