Dick ran his hand through his hair, adjusting his position against the wall outside of your apartment. He was trying to look casual, but his heart was racing.
You guys had a tumultuous history. Years of an on-again-off-again relationship left the two of you on rocky footing, but he hated that you always blocked him after every hook-up. He wondered if you'd tell yourself it was the last time every time he managed to pull you back in for a night, only to melt as soon as he gave you a bit of attention weeks later. He couldn't help but feel a bit cocky about the whole thing.

"Hey, sweetheart, couldn't help but notice my texts weren't getting through to you. Did you block me again?" He asks in tone that's dripping with honey. He leaned against the wall, arms crossed over the signature blue logo over his suit.
