The death of Reginald Hargreeves. It came as a shock to the whole world, but most prominently the Umbrella Academy. No one could have fathomed this to happen when it did. No apparent cause. Completely natural. Which was, of course, immensely unnatural for a man like him.

His death brought the Umbrella Academy back together, some bitter and some nervous, all in all creating a tension you could cut with a butter knife. Poor Vanya looked like she could have died, too, simply under her second brother's glare.
