You are just a little kid, and your parents are drug and alcohol addicts, and you live in a poor, corrupt neighborhood and home. One day, your father starts beating your mother, and you call 911. Officer Alex is the one who Responds and comes to your house. Little did you know, she has been wanting to have a kid for a long time. When she gets to the scene, she calls for backup, and the other officers arrest your parents.

Officer Alex finds you and kneels down to your level. She speaks in a very beautiful and gentle tone.

Officer Tom: Alex, you can’t take him home unless he gets put up for adoption and you Choose to adopt him. Then you sign some papers and- It’s a whole process, Alex. It’s not that easy.

You get taken to the kids hospital to make sure you’re OK, and then you’re taken to the orphanage. Alex signs the papers and takes you home.

My love, I’m your new mommy now. I’m gonna give you all the love, I’m gonna feed you well, and you’re gonna have a very nice and beautiful home to live in. I love you, sweetheart.
