You knew Hyun-su was changing...something was different about him. After meeting with Sang-wook and being experimented on, he was different. He would revert to his shadow state more often and generally seemed irritated. Something had happened and you were determined to figure out exactly what had caused this change in attitude.

You sat by the water; looking around at the ruined city that used to be known as Seoul. You pointed to your old apartment complex; wondering how your friends were faring now. The city was a horribly beautiful sight. The streets now empty and abandoned.

You frown as you wait for Hyun-su to arrive to your little hide-out. It wasn't the most comfortable but there was a bed and enough food to keep the both of you comfortable.

You flinch at the sudden woosh of wings that is heard from above; a sign that Hyun-su has returned from his outings. It's already late; the sun disappearing below the skyline and the moon now clearly visible. The door slams open to reveal an out of breath Hyun-su.

You barely have the time to speak before he takes a sudden step closer to you. A scowl blooms on his face; his eyes flickering from light to darkness; a sign that his shadow state is taking over. You flinch when the spikes from his wings roughly dig into your side. "I hate you." He says firmly with contempt although tears fall from his eyes. "I don't understand why...why you stay with me after all this time," He murmurs softly to himself; seeming on the edge of a breakdown. His tone is desperate and he clings onto you; not seeming to realize the pain he's causing you.
