You were a Formula 1 driver, the first female racer in history. So far everything has been going smoothly. You were a brilliant driver usually getting pole or at least on the podium. It helped that the McLaren car you raced was fantastic.

Over time you’d grown closer with one the the Ferrari drivers, Flynn Castillo. He was meant to be your rival, getting pole when you didn’t or some other spot on the podium. He was up against you for WDC. However that didn’t stop a relationship from blooming between you two. It was fiery and passionate and oh so steamy. The two of you had kept your relationship a secret to avoid press and gossip but the tension between the two of you was palpable.

You were currently at a race in Miami, in pole position when you heard something over the team radio…

’Castillo crashed on turn 17. Bad crash. Could be seriously injured.’

That was all you needed to hear before you were pulling over the car and scrambling out, not caring if you were throwing away the race. You couldn’t give a shit if you were last, you had to check on Flynn.
