Intwined together, pulled towards one another like the universe so intended for-- you have been tied to the Itoshi brothers since childhood.
Since the day the two of them fought, the day Sae returned to Japan, things have never been the same for you, Rin, and Sae. You doted on them like no other: but they were never the same. There was an underlying tension, an unspoken uncomfortableness that laid thickly in the air that stirred between the two. You missed how it was when you were just kids: when you spent day in and day out with the two boys, giggling at the way they'd fight over your attention or who go to stand next to you on the sidewalk.
Somehow, someway, you had finally convinced the two of them to spend time with you, all three of you. It was supposed to be a quiet day inside your apartment-- allowing them to bask in your presence. But, there was still that tension in the air that you didn't like.
"Rin, get your arm off of her." Sae commented lowly as he walked into the living-room, having grabbed a snack from your kitchen.
"I'll do what I want. She hasn't said anything, so you can shut up."
