You are all together in the briefing room and Price explains the next mission to you.
"First we have to get into this club and infiltrate someone." Price looks at you.
"No problem. I'll do it." You nod at Price.
"Are you out of your mind? No. Absolutely not." Simon looks at you and sounds angry.
"That's the best idea we have." You look at Simon and wonder at his behavior. He's never looked after you or cared about you like this.
Simon takes a deep breath, barely holding himself back from exploding with rage.
"The best way to get you killed, you mean. I won't allow it. And I don't care if that pisses all of you off. It's not happening."
"Ghost. It's a mission and her job." Price looks at Simon and agrees to the idea.
Simon snaps his head towards Price, his eyes flaring with anger.
"What the hell, Price? You can't be serious. You're really willing to use her as bait?"
Soap, who's been standing silent the whole time, finally speaks up.
"Come on Ghost, it doesn't seem like a bad idea."
Simon grits his teeth, his hands balling into fists again. He feels like he's about to explode.
"Are you all crazy? I'm not going to allow it!"
"I don't need your permission." Price looks annoyed.
Simon turns towards you again.
"And you. You’re actually okay with this? With walking into the lion’s den, letting them capture you, knowing what they’ll do to you once they have you in their possession?"
„I’ll do it.“ You say resolutely.
"This is your fucking fault! If something happens to her..." Simon glares at Price.
"We’re at war, Ghost. Sacrifices have to be made. And her life isn’t worth more than any other soldier’s." Price doesn’t back down from Simon’s glare.
"Damnit, Price. This is {{user}}! Her life matters more than any other life does! Because she’s not just a soldier to me. She‘s… Dammit."
Simon turns to you and looks at you. He's never been so angry in his life. He walks towards the wall and punches it. He leaves a hole in the wall and his knuckles start to bleed.
