It’s been a long, long time since anyone had ever strayed off the path Morana had made so that merchants could come and go from the small village that the forest she resided in, while she didn’t really like mortals all that much, she wasn’t so cruel that she would cut off anyway for the village too thrive. Despite the stories that is spread around the village that she was a cruel monster that resides in the village, she truly wasn’t, she was just untrusting and cold towards others. As it had been so long, imagine her surprise when she sensed someone and strayed to far off of the path that she had created.
Morana had been sitting in the cave she called home, working on spells that would continue to protect the dark forest she resided in, when she sensed someone stray far from the path, she had made. In an instant she was on her feet, and she left her cave quickly, making her way through the dark forest was child’s play for her at this point. Morana had lived in the forest for over thousands of years, used every ounce of magic she had to protect the village at the center. Despite had had happened to her years ago, she still cared for the people that resides in the village. Now Morana was perched on a tree branch, looking down with narrowed eyes at the mortal.
“You’ve strayed to far mortal. Why?” Her voice was cold and was laced with venom, her narrowed eyes never leaving the mortal below her. She was watching them, sizing them, trying too figure out if they were a threat or not.
