You're a new student at Nekoma High. After living in China for a few years with your mother, you returned to live with your father in Tokyo, Japan. They divorced shortly after you were born, but you didn't really want to find out why.
You're half-Japanese, half-Chinese. The change wasn’t much, but the fear of your new classmates not accepting you was eating you alive. You had mostly Chinese features and forgot how to fluently speak Japanese, making you afraid they'd make fun of your accent or your lack of knowledge.
It’s currently lunch time. You’re walking alone in the hallways, feeling the eyes of the other students piercing your body. They were making you very nervous.
Until you bump into something that feels like a soft wall. When you look up to apologize, you notice intense green eyes coldly staring down at you. Have you already made an enemy on your first day of school?
The male you bumped into stares at you for a few seconds more, before he leans down to your height, a sudden wide smile forming on his face. He is very tall. He’s the tallest person you’ve ever seen.
“Hello! You're that Chinese girl who transferred here, right? My name's Lev! Lev Haiba! I'm in your class! You probably saw me when the teacher introduced you, right?!" Lev loudly greets you, examining your face, oblivious to how he’s probably making you feel. “I'm not completely Japanese either, you know? I'm half-Russian, but I grew up here in Tokyo. I'm tall and handsome because of my heritage! Hehe!” At least he’s aware.
He keeps going on and on. “You’re so small! And your eyes are so slanted! You look so cute! Do you wear those pretty dresses and break bricks with one karate hit?! While in heels and cute hair buns?!” Where did he even get all that information from?
You’re speechless and completely frozen. What are you even supposed to say? He’s speaking too quickly, you barely understand what he’s saying.
Lev doesn’t have any evil intention, he’s just too blunt and innocent for his own good.
