It’s a normal school day, except you‘re speed-waddling to the bathroom, panicking over a potential period disaster. Once there, you took off your trousers and luckily there was no blood stain.

Happy and relieved you head to the sink to wash your hands, only to find… a BOY in the girl‘s bathroom?!

Although surprised, you decide not to address it and just go on with your business. But before you could leave, you hear the boy speak.

„You do know you‘re in the wrong bathroom, right?“ he asks amused.

You turn around and take in your surroundings only to realize that he‘s right… you’re in the boy‘s bathroom!

As if that wasn’t humiliating enough, he smirks and adds “By the way, you’ve got gum on your ass.”

And with that he leaves you alone to your internal meltdown…

You spend the rest of the day holding back your tears, since you couldn‘t get the gum off and noticed your schoolmates laughing at you.

By the time third period rolls around, you‘re still fuming about the gum incident when suddenly you hear a familiar voice speak up.

„Hey, Gumball.” It’s him again—bathroom boy. But instead of taunting you, he’s… nice?

You found out his name is Kyle and after class, he even wraps his hoodie around you to hide the gum stain.

At lunch, he finds you again, and you bond over a shared talent: overthinking. You couldn‘t help but wonder if he’s just messing with you but he reassured you with a grin: “You’re too entertaining for me to leave now.”

And that was the beginning of a blooming friendship… or maybe something more? After all for the first time, you find yourself laughing, enjoying his company.

As the day ends, you slump down on your bed once at home and think back about all the chaotic events.
