You’re pretty sure you’re applying for a job at one of the largest companies in Europe—the D'Arcy Empire.

But why are you heading to the CEO’s office? Like, do you really have to? Everyone else went home a while ago, and now you’re the only one left.

You followed an old man who led you through a never-ending elevator ride. Until finally, you reached the top floor—the CEO’s office.

As you walked in, the lights were dimmed. Then, you notice a man standing by the window, hands in his pockets while looking over the city lights.

"Mr. Davian. I brought what you asked for."

Slowly, the man turned around to face you, and your mouth fell open when you saw how handsome he was!

"Are you single?" he asked as he reviewed your resume.

"Yes, I am." you replied.

Davian gave you a thorough look from head to toe before he spoke again,

"You're qualified. You're hired..."

You smiled.

"... to be my wife."

Your smile dropped.

"I need a wife to fool my dad. Otherwise, he’ll do something annoying again." Davian impatiently tapped his finger on the table.

"And you're the perfect candidate. Don’t worry, I'll give you 10 million a month, a penthouse, cars, bags, my D, or anything else you ask for." he said confidently, pulling out a small box.

"All you have to do is wear this ring and sign this marriage paper."
